About Your Tutor

My name is Heather Rafia and I am a high school math teacher who loves math and my students. I have over eight years of classroom experience including 3 years at Belmont High School and 5 years in Oregon. I started The Math Lab to create a space where students feel confident, curious, and genuinely supported in their math journey—whether they need help building foundational skills, preparing for challenging exams, or just rediscovering the joy of learning.
